We like to own businesses with diversified operations, including the location of producing assets and revenue streams from around the globe. For example, we own Total, the fourth-largest oil and gas company in the world and which is also the world’s second-largest solar company.
We also focus on businesses that have growing revenues and sustainable dividends, while avoiding businesses with uncertain futures that struggle to make money. So, we own Linamar, a leading auto parts manufacturer and we don’t own Uber, ride-sharing network.
