The newest company in the portfolio is MTY Food Group, which has more than 70 quick-service restaurant brands and more than 7,000 locations in food courts, hospitals, campuses, malls and movie theatres around North America.
We continue to own great companies like Microsoft. Since we made our initial investment in 2007, we’ve seen gains of more than $18 million. Even though the share price stayed flat for a number of years, we stayed the course and were rewarded. Sometimes the waiting is the hardest part.
